Two to Three Inches

15 02 2009

big-bertha-8-ironTwo golf bags and accessories sit in our garage door entrance from the house. Every time I go into the garage, my bag of hope is just sitting there pleading for me to take a swing or sink a putt. Yesterday, morning when I went outside to take a swing there was two to three inches of snow.  All I could think of was “V” in my short game.  I do not know why but I was just set on chipping that morning.

Do you know how hard it is to try to keep a “V” chipping and putting snow?  Not easy when it is cold – my wife thought I was crazy.   I know yesterday was Valentine day but I am ready for golf season but I am ready for some warmer weather.

Today the SBS OPEN AT TURTLE BAY 2009 played today. Angela Stanford won follow by Michelle Wie. I did not get the chance to watch the game but I am sure it will be replayed on the Golf Channel.

Just image if we were in a warm climate like Hawaii or Aruba how much practice time we could get in.  Well this morning I did in the snow.  I used an old plastic turf and orange balls to do the keep the “V” in shape. This year my chipping and putting is going to be the best that it has ever been.

What are you guys working on? Any comments
