Single or Married No Children

Are you getting tired of being picked on?

Just because you single does that makes you the office baby sitter? Married no children than you should have to pay more taxes because you don’t have any kids.

Just because I do not have any children do not mean that my wife and I are not family.
Just because I do not have children do not means I am better off and should have to pay more taxes to support other people children. Where is the fairness in that?

Answer this question who choose to have those children? They should be the ones that pay the extra taxes. Tax break for all or none…that is what I say…stop reaching into my wallet for other people problems.

I am going to stop now because I don’t want to hurt any feelings but I am getting tired of being picked on.

Now I am going to my corner to chill because there is too much stupid stuff going on and coming out of so call leaders mouths these days.

The Truth…

Today, I wanted to write about Mr. Woods. Did you see that game today – just pure poetry in motion.

But there is something more important I want to bring to your attention. One of the blogs (TheFutureBuzz) that I read made a very interesting point today. Adam wrote:

Just something to thing about the next time you know something is wrong and you are deciding what you are going to do.

Two to Three Inches

Two golf bags and accessories sit in our garage door entrance from the house. Every time I go into the garage, my bag of hope is just sitting there pleading for me to take a swing or sink a putt. Yesterday, morning when I went outside to take a swing there was two to three inches of snow.  All I could think of was “V” in my short game.  I do not know why but I was just set on chipping that morning.

Do you know how hard it is to try to keep a “V” chipping and putting snow?  Not easy when it is cold – my wife thought I was crazy.   I know yesterday was Valentine day but I am ready for golf season but I am ready for some warmer weather.

Today the SBS OPEN AT TURTLE BAY 2009 played today. Angela Stanford won follow by Michelle Wie. I did not get the chance to watch the game but I am sure it will be replayed on the Golf Channel.

Just image if we were in a warm climate like Hawaii or Aruba how much practice time we could get in.  Well this morning I did in the snow.  I used an old plastic turf and orange balls to do the keep the “V” in shape. This year my chipping and putting is going to be the best that it has ever been.

Stress Free Day

Doing Nothing At All

Today is 17 January. Today I am not to do anything because my wife made me promise her that I will no do anything today.  She claims I have to much stress in my life and that I need to slow down.  I totally agree but and you know there is always a “but” involved…

Do you know how hard it is for me to do nothing? It is 3:56am in the morning and I am typing this blog. Why? I don’t know but it is better than pretending to be  sleeping.

I am not even allowed to “think” because I might start writing or fixing something. However, I am allowed to watch TV, use the washroom, eat and stay out of her way. I am not allowed to go near my metal shop, the garage or my gym.

What is on TV? Maybe, I will watch the Golf Channel and visualize me playing the perfect game.  On the other hand, maybe watch a Kung-Fu movie so that I can learn some new and useless awesome technique that want work because I can’t get caught flying across the room. – that is doing something.

I wonder how long I can really go without doing anything. I know that I cannot go for a millisecond without thinking. “Clear your mind…” tried it but I only come up with more ways to be busier.

Wait it is suppose to snow today. Maybe I can help my neighbors by shoveling their walkways when I am through with our driveway and walk way. Writing about walking maybe I can walk the exterior of the house and inspect it for any type of damages or needed upkeep.

Doing nothing is hard even when you are not doing anything at all.

Let me end now before I am caught do something.

I do not understand how someone can walk onto the course not believing that they have not won the game already.

There is a saying that goes like this: “Everyone has a plan until they are hit.” The goal is not to be a loser or to accept a tie but to win.   You can only win when you are focus and prepared.  If you are not up-to-par or better than don’t step on the course with me.   2009 season is about going to the next level and having fun with it.

2009 is going to be a great season.

I am not getting ready, I am ready!!!!  It is just too bad that I have to take up ballroom dancing so that I can play golf.  I have been married twenty-three years but I love my wife and willing to compromise if that is what it takes to make her happy.  It makes no sense to me but it is all about love. Nothing worthwhile is free – NOT even love. You have to work for it and nurture it.  If you are not willing to work for it then stay away from it.

See you guys on the course or the floor and bring your “A” game.

Where is it?

It is 8:43 pm and still no snow and I am stuck in a cheap hotel room that smell bad and this is their best and only room.

Should I take the chance and run for home hoping that I want get snowed in tomorrow morning?

Or should I stay here in the only available room within a ten mile radius?

Really…

This morning I am cruising down the slippy wintery highway to work.  I am cruising a good speed and out of no where a car is coming up my “tail” really fast.  It cuts into the right line really fast and it kept going until it stood up on in front fender.

AHHHH!!!! It was a horrific accident.  Many of us pulled over and rushed to the Black SUV to see if the “idiot” was okay.  When I get there she is screaming at people to get back into their car and mind their own business as she was trying to push the vehicle out of the mud.

I arrived at work a few minutes before start time…she made the radio. I wonder how she is going to explain that accident to her insurance people?

What Are They Saying

What are they thinking?

The same “people representatives” who gave billions of our US tax dollars away – could not “loan” money.   I am very disappointed in these shortsighted “Hawks” pretending to be “Doves.”

It seems ludicrous to believe that some of these people are business people. If they would have said that there is no way for the top three auto companies to pay the loans back – this I could understand.  If they had said that the top three auto companies have not presented a workable business plan to make them selves profitable – I would have agreed with them.

NEVERTHELESS, to tell us that they cannot give the loan because the Union workers need to take a cut in their salaries when they did not required this of AIG and the banks.   That is not sitting right – it is outrageous and totally shows that these people have to be a bunch of morons.

What are they telling the lower to middle working class people? What is the message that they are telling us?

I bet you these are the same people that believe that the Modify T. J. Birkenmeier plan will not work.
